The Application Analyst will contribute to the successful and timely support of the Trakcare product by providing application knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot problems escalated by the customer. The Application Analyst will become an “expert” product resource for customers and will be expected to communicate and prioritize customer requirements to various areas of the business in addition to acting a link between the customer and product development.

Gather and Manage Client Business Requirements

·     Analyse client processes

·    Identify gaps and possible solutions

·    Run TrakCare workshops with the Client

·    Be involved in the specification changes

·    Produce clear documentation (business requirements/maps, solution document, etc)

Configuration

·    Configure TrakCare product on agreed specification

·    Work with Client to ensure data migration and data collection information is gathered correctly

·    Document configuration

Testing

·    Creating test scripts for verifying agreed configuration

·    Participate in testing functionalities to ensure they match the specifications

·    Participate in testing the migrated data to ensure it works with the functionalities

·    Log errors following the standard corporate procedure

·    Troubleshoot client issues during implementation phases

·    Follow-up on test fixes and work with PM to implement fix

·    Distinguish issues from change requests and log following standard corporate procedure

Training

·    Train Client key-users on TrakCare functions

·    Prepare training materials

Support

·    Carry out handover from implementation to support phase

·    Liaise with other ISC departments to resolve any remaining issues

·    Assess new business requirements and proactively work with the relevant ISC teams to identify the best solution

On-going responsibilities

·    Support colleagues and assist in spreading application knowledge

·    Actively pursue opportunities for improving applications and processes

·    Maintain consistent and traceable documentation as required

·    Learn new functionalities available on the TrakCare product

Experience and Qualifications

  • General aptitude for solving problems and using technology to improve processes
  • Understanding and experience in implementation of product solutions
  • An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints
  • Proven ability to work through problems with different customer groups achieving positive outcomes
  • Understanding and experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), and Clinical Information Systems preferred
  • Understanding of the importance of Health Informatics standards, reporting requirements and legislative controls
  • Be able to design and write specification documents related to customer requirements
  • Ability to work in team (with colleagues/partners eventually located in different town/countries)

Education and Training

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent; (Physics, Mathematics, Sciences), OR
  • University degree in medical informatics, management information system, system engineering or any related field.
