Youth Entrepreneurship in Denver High Schools

"Do new things, or do old things in new ways." This is how one of our volunteers described entrepreneurship and creativity to a group of high school seniors earlier this week. Creating a startup does not necessarily mean coming up with something completely original--it means solving a problem, or fulfilling a need, in original or innovative ways.

As we expand HOPE Business In A Box (HBIAB), Operation HOPE's youth entrepreneurship initiative, across Denver, we are seeing high school students blossom into confident and innovative creators. From learning about the history of small business to developing their public speaking skills, our students are realizing their true potential.

Check out the video below highlighting one of our pitch competitions at a Denver high school. If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer for this program, please contact us at (720) 855-8870 or [email protected].
