Are you an aspiring photographer? Are you a snowboarder with a camera on your phone? Does your life revolve around Instagram or Facebook? Are you just bored and feel like taking some pictures? Everyone is welcome to submit photography for the Western Convenience Stores photo contest. Photos will be displayed on Western’s Facebook page, Twitter account, and our website.
The rules are simple. Your photo needs three things: 1) It needs to have a logo of Western Convenience Stores, or any Pepsi Co. brand (Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Rock Star, Gatorade, Muscle Milk, etc.). These logos can be photoshopped into an existing photo, you can be holding a Pepsi or Gatorade, or whatever. We don’t want to tell you what to do, we just want to see what you can come up with. 2) Be creative and original. We don’t know what we’re looking for in the winning photo yet, but we know that the photographer will be having fun and the photo will have charisma. 3) Be prepared to have your photo displayed on our website and our social media outlets. If you do not want us to promote your work, do not send it to us. Your photos will be become our property. We promise that what you submit is what we’ll show. The photos will not be doctored in any way.
If you are heading up the hill to any of the Colorado ski resorts, traveling on the plains or trucking through the state, you’ll find a perfect photo op. Maybe, you’re with your family and friends simply hanging out in Denver or Colorado Springs. The city scape with the mountains in the background might just be your muse. Photo opportunities exist in every corner of Colorado (and Nebraska). Take advantage of it. The winner will be awarded a new K2 Parkstar Snowboard. The winner will be announced Monday, March 2, 2015, giving you a chance to ride through the fresh spring powder.
