Trelora Changing How You Connect with Sellers

TRELORA is disrupting the traditional real estate business model for the benefit of buyers and seller. They charge a flat fee to buyers and sellers, slashing those realtor commissions with a goal to save clients thousands of dollars on every transaction.

Here's an example of savings for a buyer and seller on a $1.5 million home in Denver. The selling agent (for the buyer) would get a $2,500 - $10,000 commission as opposed to the traditional $42,000-plus commission on a similarly priced home. With the lowered commission, the buyer may be getting a lower price and would have more money available to reduce the interest rate on their fixed-rate mortgage loan.

It is a win-win for buyer and seller but maybe not for local agents working in Trelora's areas.

The company is introducing a new platform (software application) that enables home buyers and sellers to go around their agents and communicate directly with each other.  

Joshua Hunt, founder of Trelora, claims their app permits customers to have more control over the buying and selling process and was created to improve efficiency for their internal staff.

When a seller decides to list their home with Trelora, they can turn on Trelora Connect, which allows buyers or their agents who register with Trelora to get in touch with sellers directly.

Instead of waiting a day or more to get a simple answer for a simple question like the dimensions of the closet, now  an answer for a simple request can be done within hours.

How Does it Work?
Using Trelora Connect, the buyer sends a message to the seller. During its introductory phase, answers have shown to come back quickly. This means there are less delays or mistakes that can happen when information is passed through multiple parties.  It is not uncommon for an agent to be working on another transaction and has fires to put out. So, the measurement of a closet is not a high priority for them that particular day.

If the buyer and seller are in solid disagreement about the final price, a Trelora agent can mediate and resolve the issue. If the dialogue between buyer and seller becomes unprofessional, the platform can be switched off. Clients can always ask a Trelora agent to review each step throughout the contract period. Another option is Trelora can take care of everything using the traditional realtor system.
