Think of nearly any daily problem you face and it's likely that an app, or software solution, exists to help resolve the issue. So what if you want to launch an app? Should you blindly enter into the SaaS industry and hope things work out? Well...that depends.
We, at The Colorado Entrepreneur Show, recently had the pleasure of interviewing Matt Talbot , Co-founder and CEO of GoSpotCheck.
Not only has Matt changed his business model on multiple occassions but, in fact, he actually changed his entire industry altogether. Despite some early adversities, Matt and his co-founders have managed to raise millions of dollars and have secured business from numerous multi-national corporations. GoSpotCheck, an SaaS business, enables multi-unit businesses to get better information on the operations of their locations through their enterprise software which helps to collect, organize, and react to field data using mobile and web applications.
“Everyone is trying to sell technology right now. There’s an incredible volume of SaaS start-ups. There are start-ups that do hardware. Almost everything is moving toward this model where there’s going to be a software solution for almost any problem a business has. And, that’s great because it builds awareness. People are paying attention to technology. People want to try new things, and they want to be up on the latest curve of what’s happening. That’s the advantage. The disadvantage is that you’re dealing with an incredible sea of noise…”
