Organizers of the new Startup Phenomenon event series aren't worried so much with how to launch startup companies as they are how to create an environment where startups can flourish.
Boulder-based Van Heyst Group and Green Garage founder Ryan Ferraro are co-founders of the series, which was unveiled at a Galvanize event this week in Denver. Their main event is the Startup Phenomenon 2013 conference slated for Nov. 13-15 at the St Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder.
The three-day event geared toward entrepreneurs, investors, academics, economic developers, policy makers and more will feature presentations, discussions and classes covering best practices for creating and sustaining startup ecosystems.
