Consumer choices and access to high-speed networks are at risk as Senate considers regulating the Internet and wireless services.

In today’s economy Colorado’s families use technology to connect to each other and Colorado businesses depend on technology to reach and serve customers.

All of us need fast, reliable connections to the best service Internet and wireless providers can offer.  SB 287 would limit new technology and choices by adding government regulations that could affect Internet and wireless services.

Today, new technologies are working to connect Colorado families to each other and in school and work. The regulations that SB 287 proposes threaten what’s working today, will limit consumer choice and jeopardize our access to the best networks available.

While today the Senate voted against SB 287 in a great show of bipartisanship, it could come to the floor again. Please help support nearly 50 Colorado organizations and companies, including the Colorado Technology Assocation, in opposing the legislation.
