Quality Services Provide Better Referrals

The hardest part of creating a business is getting off the ground. There is a difficult balance of ding quality work and finding quality clients. Sometimes, in order to get started, you end up providing poor services to anyone who will buy just to make a quick buck. This mentality is becoming wide spread and it defiantly hurts the market.

It is important from day one to provide your customers with the same service that you would provide yourself. In our company it is incredibly crucial to create relationships by providing the best possible services first and worrying about cash flow second. Let’s look at a couple examples...

Slow and steady wins the race

Too often companies take their startup capital and throw it into marketing, like Google Adwords. While it could be effective, it is most likely a waste. It may give you a quick influx of leads but they are low quality.

Instead you should be looking to work for a few clients. With these first few clients, go above and beyond. Once the project is complete and they are happy, let them know that you would love to earn their future business and the business of their peers.

The difference here is the referral. A referral client has almost already been sold, all you have to do is close the sale. Unlike other marketing leads, your conversion ratio should be much higher with referrals and you should spend less time creating a relationship.

This ideology of providing superior service in order to gain referrals and repeat customers is much more cost effective and long term than other marketing methods.

Brand Ambassadors

Almost like referrals are brand ambassadors. These people may or may not be clients but they are one thing for sure... YOR BIGGEST FANS. They will refer you new clients as if they were salesmen for your company. These people are similar to Apple fans. They love a brand, product, lifestyle and they are ready to brag about it to everyone.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, providing superior services and creating a widespread fan base that you continually remarket to is important. This type of strategy will support long term growth and sales goals.
