Lookout, a personalized and connected dashboard, allows users to connect their Microsoft Outlook accounts to manage email, calendar and tasks centrally. Administrators can allow determine how each employee sees his or her dashboard, making it possible to customize views based on their role, region, or team.

"Not everybody works the same way in the workplace. For social to truly succeed and increase human productivity it must tune to how people work individually," said Daniel Kraft , NewsGator president & CEO, according to a press release. "Social Sites lets people intuitively participate and shape social interactions in ways that suit them, helping them add value through this increased connectivity."

From NewsGator’s perspective, allowing employees to connect socially on more devices and across applications is just another step in letting people work they way they work best.
