MyApply is an online service for students and scholarship providers to discover,engage and apply/fund scholarship opportunities on an intuitive, efficient and streamlined platform. They are working to create a common application platform for private scholarships for college. Their target? Private Scholarship Organizations Users? Students that need and/or are looking for financial aid for college tuition.
What have they done in the past 24 hours?
- Survey for people for what scholarships they would be eligible for
- Survey for companies and who would be able to use them
- Promotions through their website and research on the cost for these companies and execution.
My Apply is solving the problem of the private scholarship process, right now when students want to apply for scholarships, they need to go to a lot of websites which are difficult to to understand and utilize. This leads to application deadlines being missed, incomplete forms, lack of knowledge of what else is out there. Their solution is to simply organize and aggregrate, allowing users to go to ONE site and do ONE application with profiling information. This will allow students to gain access to multiple scholarship opportunities and pair better with those organizations. This will also help organizations receive better suited applicants and save them time going through applicants that aren’t the best fit. This will be done by matching the student interests, accomplishments and extra curricular activities to the organizations wants/desires.
Right now organizations are paying $15-20k/year in fees just to have to website online application, utilizing properly. WOW, this will be a huge asset to them and the student. Way to solve a problem guys, too bad I’ve already graduated and am still paying off loans.
