Tell us about MusikFly:
MusikFly is a platform for musical influencers to manage all their music submissions in one smart, simple feed.
When was your company founded?
The team came together at the end of January 2013.
Where did the idea come from? What were you trying to accomplish/what problem are you trying to solve?
We are truly inspired to help get great music heard. We are all passionate about music and realized that up-and-coming musicians didn't have a good way to get their music in front of the right people, and we wanted to fix that.
Any major challenges or successes so far that you'd like to share?
Some successes: We launched our beta on February 27th, just a month after we started. We have 7 "musical influencers" signed up, and close to 70 artists.
How can the startup community help? What are you looking for right now?
We are currently working on implementing and testing several different revenue models.
We're looking to get connected with more music bloggers, promoters, and other musical influencers to try our service. Other feedback and beta testing is also always appreciated.
