LadyCoders coming to Colorado

In honor of International Women's Day, I wanted to share info about a great event coming up for women in tech.

Last year, 3 female coders from Seattle used Kickstarter to earn funds to create two-day seminars that help women build successful careers in tech and foster a mentoring community. One of our employees, Elaine Marino, attended their first seminar in Seattle in October, and was so inspired, she encouraged them to come to Boulder.

Thanks to Elaine's hard work and dedication, that seminar, called LadyCoders, is indeed coming to Colorado next month. Here at Commerce Kitchen we are motivated to create more diversity and inclusion of women in the technology sector and we are proud to support Elaine and this event which will be help April 6-7 at the Google Campus in Boulder.

You can read more about the LadyCoder founders at Women 2.0, and about the seminar they just put on in New York, which is the model on which the Colorado seminar is based.

Learn more about Elaine's experience and motivation on our blog and please consider showing your support for this great event through sponsorship or volunteering to help out. Contact me or Elaine for more information on how to get involved.
