Back in January, our Firehouse hosted a Built-In Brews. As the overachievers that we are, we didn't want this to be some run-of-the-mill Built-In Brews. No, sir. We tacked on something extra: a battle between alcoholic drinks.
Sounds awesome, right? It was. Two file format cocktails - .HTML and .PNG - duked it out throughout the evening to be named champion. Ultimately, .PNG (Peach 'N Ginger) won out over .HTML.
Well, it's been a long eight months since that fated battle, and we're bringing Clash of the Cocktails back! That's right: on September 5th, we'll be hosting an exclusive, 4-hour, bracketology-style COTC.
Working off of the .HTML and .PNG models from our Built-In Brews, we're asking startups that are participating to show off their imaginative side and create their own delicious/fun/funky file format cocktail.
What are the file format options?
Think dot-anything: .gif, .jpeg, .txt, .php, .rb, .js, .psd, .css, .svg, .asp, .cfm, .haml, .erb, .zip, .jsp, .mg, .eps, .gz, .ova, .md, .tar, the list goes on and on. Time to get creative!
What's in it for me and my startup?
- Four comp'ed tickets for you and your cocktail makers (and other staff) who want to join in on the fun.

Can I attend without my startup competing?
Here at Commerce Kitchen, we love making new friends when alcohol (especially wine) is involved. If you're from a non-participating startup or company, or if you just want to hang out with us and our amazing superheroes, then we'd love to have you! General admission tickets for Clash of the Cocktails will be $10.

We want YOU (Denver startups) to get involved! Ombud, FluentStream, and Inversoft have already thrown their hats in the ring. We have five spots left for startups who want to participate!
