Denver is quickly establishing itself a hotbed for startups, and nowhere was this more evident than during the 2nd annual Denver Start Up Week. On Friday, September 20, local industry leaders participated in a panel discussion at iTriage® headquarters titled: Start Ups in Health Tech: Opportunities and Challenges. Moderated by Leonard Kish of VivaPhi, panelists included Patrick Leonard of iTriage, Jason Keller of Welltok, Mike Biselli of MedPassage, and Blake McKinney of CirrusMD.

The panel was part of Denver Start Up Week’s tech track and drew more than 150 attendees, who engaged in a lively discussion with the panelists about the state of the industry. The 90-minute Q & A covered challenges of operating in the healthcare tech space, along with the directions and opportunities that lie ahead.
