Grotech Ventures, based outside Washington, D.C., has raised a new $225 million fund to invest in early-stage technology companies — and that's good for Denver-area startups.
Joe Zell, a Denver resident and Grotech managing partner, is well known in local startup circles, and managing partnerLawson DeVries told me this week that Grotech aims to repeat the success of its last early-stage fund by again seeking out Colorado tech companies in which to invest.
