Down the Rabbit Hole

For months Karmies, LLC team has been preparing; the company is developing a business model and a financial model that illustrates economic viability of a product that is novel, achievable and salable.  Today we open the fundraising efforts with a pitch to Liberty Global, the venture capital / private equity juggernaut located in the south Denver metro area.  The Karmies product is ready for introduction to the investment community.

Karmies has been developing its flagship product for the better part of a year; Karmies is developing brand-specific emojis that can be used in text messages, emails, tweets, Facebook postings and the like. Imagine being able set a meeting at a local coffee shop and being able to insert an emoji into your message that represents the coffee shop brand and when clicked opens a map to the specific coffee shop where you intend to hold your meeting.  That’s just the beginning, the possibilities are endless for corporate messaging and consumer applications.

Part of the appeal of Karmies emojis is that it is a product that lends itself well to strategic partnering.  The way that the product is employed by its users opens an entirely new revenue stream for potential partners because it opens the door into a previously impenetrable medium.

So, today the Karmies team will receive direct feedback from a potential investor.  Over the past two months the business model and financials have been tweaked, messaged and studied so much that they are rock solid, totally defensible and reflect what will happen.  At least until today it appeared as fact, now as we make final preparations it all seams like theory.  Albert Einstein replaced the aether with his  theory of special relativity. Today we present the theory of Karmies that will replace the digital aether that exists now.

The walk from the Liberty Global waiting room to the conference room is reminiscent of Alice’s dilemma when she fell down the rabbit hole and couldn't fit through the door because she was too big.  This time I’m not too big, but the challenge is the same, how do I get through the door...
