They came, they saw, they drank, they ate pizza, they laughed, they networked like nobody was watching, and they left very excited for the next event!

I’m talking about all the awesome women who showed up for the first ever StartupDenver Female Entrepreneurs event. We gathered at Thrive in Lodo on Tuesday January 22nd, and offered all our guests complimentary drinks and pizza. These ladies were all excited to be there and we could not begin to thank them enough for making our first event a success.

Women collectively came out to connect with peers and colleagues, bounce their ideas around with strangers, listen to start-up success stories, as well as failures, and why to stop wasting time and figure out what their desires and passions are and to go for them! Women opened up, talked about their current business operation woes and asked for plenty of advice. Many members seemed most intrigued and excited that there was finally a venue for them to attend which would put them in a group of other entrepreneurial women. Some have corporate careers and were there to figure out how they could get out, some were founders or co-founders of Denver startup companies, some were there to help with anything one can imagine if you were thinking of starting a new business venture or a new project. Women showed up because they were ready to be in a place of like-minded entrepreneurial women. And we’re just getting started!

Our future events will be broken down into about an hour and a half, starting with drinks and networking which then leads to an inspiring guest speaker, followed by questions from our members and answers from the speaker.

The StartupDenver Female Entrepreneurs events are monthly, on the second last Tuesday of the month. Please become a member today.
