If you haven't heard about it yet, there's a great all-day event taking place this Friday called the Crowdfunding PRO and CONTRA Conference, which will have multiple speakers educating entrepreneurs on the various options to raise money for their projects. It'll be a good opportunity to learn about funding options and connect with other Denver entrepreneurs. AppIt Ventures' CEO, Rob Carpenter, will be among the late afternoon speakers, and he's awesome so you definitely don't want to miss that! 

Rob has a unique background that combines both entrepreneurial experience and investment experience. He's been an entrepreneur since he started his own lawn mowing business at age 12, and he was also an associate on the Rutt Bridges Venture Capital Fund for over a year, so he understands the point of view of both the entrepreneur and the investor. These experiences give him insight into both sides of the startup world, and he can tell you just about everything you need to know about funding a business.

That's why he was chosen as one of the speakers for Friday's event, where he'll be discussing alternatives to crowdfunding. Of course, Rob agreed to share his knowledge because he loves helping entrepreneurs succeed. The entrepreneurial community is a lot stronger if we all help each other out, right?
