Most of the companies participating in Colorado Startup Brews have been around for a few years. (The average founding year is 2010.) But Kiitos, one of Denver’s newest startups, brewed their Colorado Startup Brews submission even before launching their beta.

This September, Kiitos plans to launch the beta of an online marketplace for parents to buy, borrow and sell goods for children. Kiitos’ founders, Sarah Duffy, Bri Baird and Ale Kulvik, know how easy it is to find your home with more kid gear than space, and their marketplace will enable parents to safely buy like-new products from people they trust.

Sarah and Bri brewed a lingonberry summer beer in homage to the Finnish heritage of Ale, Kiitos’ London-based CTO. Their goal was to create a refreshing, unique, and not-so-sweet, light beer to enjoy on hot summer nights.  

Sarah and Bri bottled with their babies in tow, and would like to thank the CO-Brew team for helping to find a lingonberry extract for the unusual recipe.

Kiitos is a Finnish word for “thank you”. The founders of Kiitos will be showing their gratitude to the Denver startup community and celebrating their upcoming launch as they pour their lingonberry summer beer at the Colorado Startup Brews event on September 9th.
