Like most of Colorado, Commerce Kitchen loves our dogs! They accompany us on hiking trails, camping trips, walks in the park, and days at the office.
On any given day at Commerce Kitchen, you will find one or two of our regular canine co-workers. Ripley, Peaches, Shorty, and Woodford make our days better. They are captains of culture.

Because of them we actually step away from our computers here and there to get outside for a short walk. They make us laugh at how insanely happy they are to see us again anytime we step out of the room, even for a few minutes. They remind us that no matter how much work we have to do and how busy we are, we still have time for belly scratches.
Commerce Kitchen recently received the honor of being identified as a finalist for Colorado Companies to Watch. We would like to think a big part of what makes us a company worth watching is our culture, and we can’t talk about our culture without including the CK SuperPuppies in that discussion.
Based on this, we decided to have our own little contest to recognize all the canine co-workers out there that are making our offices and our work lives just a little better.
Head on over to the contest page to add your favorite office dog into the mix and then promote your puppy through twitter, tumblr, or instagram using #CoDTW (Colorado Dogs to Watch) to get the most votes before April 10th.
On April 19th, the winner and their owner will be the guest of honor at Wine Friday at the Commerce Kitchen firehouse in Denver. There will be a toast, a pawbender for the pup, and a prize for being the top dog.
Best of all, Commerce Kitchen will make a donation of $10 to Freedom Service Dogs for every office dog submitted to the contest. Freedom Service Dogs of America is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and custom training them for individual client needs. The amazing dogs Freedom Service Dogs enhance the lives of their owners just like our office dogs enhance ours.
