DENVER, CO  – For 10 days in June, Denver will welcome 10 successful entrepreneurs for a groundbreaking program tackling 10 “wicked” problems in health. 10.10.10 is the first of its kind in the United States and the Denver community is a major part of it.

On Monday, June 20th at 2:30pm at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House the public is invited to the 10.10.10 “Big Reveal.” The 10 CEOs and 10 wicked problems will be announced along with keynote speakers who will set the stage for the next 10 days. The program is in its second year and will once again be powered by The Colorado Health Foundation.

“The Foundation is excited to be a part of this year’s 10.10.10 Health. We understand that solutions to some wicked health problems can be solved by bringing together impact entrepreneurs, and believe the 10.10.10 event will once again bring attention to our state’s health issues,” said Amy Latham, vice president of Philanthropy, the Colorado Health Foundation.

Last year’s program was a powerful experience with two standing room only events at the McNichols Civic Center and two CEOs who have gone on to pursue meaningful start-up opportunities in health related ventures.

Among the speakers at the Big Reveal on June 20th will be Denver entrepreneur, CEO and founder of 10.10.10, Tom Higley, “We wanted to see more startup CEOs focus on solutions that result in both successful businesses and impact, so we created a platform that helps successful entrepreneurs come together to identify their ‘next big thing’.  The ‘Big Reveal’ at Ellie Caulkins will be a way for the Denver community to engage in the conversation and learn which 10 wicked problems have been selected and who the 10 CEOs are that will be addressing them.”

Additional organizations and people involved in this year’s 10.10.10 will be Kaiser Permanente Colorado, Colorado Coalition for the Medically Underserved, Medical Group Management Association, Colorado Health Institute, representatives from US Health and Human Services and more.

Two additional events will be open to the public and provide an opportunity for the Denver community to learn more about innovation in health and the experience of the 10 entrepreneurs. A mid-point event on June 24th at Anschutz Medical Campus will include noteworthy speakers and an overview of the “sprint” process the 10 entrepreneurs will be undertaking leading up to June 30th. The i3 (Intention, Inception, Impact) event will take place on June 30th at EXDO Event Center, where the 10 entrepreneurs will present their 10 day experience and their intentions moving forward.
