Today, six years after the begging of the Daily Deals era, the industry has an annual revenue of over $3 billion dollars. Since most of us are familiar with it and probably most of us are using or have used a daily deals website, I will not talk about the concept. About 90% of the revenue is generated by only two websites, Groupon and LivingSocial. The way they generate revenue is simple, commision of usually 30-70% of every deal sold. Seeing that local businesses are strugling, we developed and launched a daily deals website, that benefits them.

         CitySpecialz is founded on principles that allow local businesses to receive 100% revenue from their offers, so they can keep providing us with excellent experiences that make our cities unique. We believe that local businesses deserve to have a much more benefitial alternative than the current model of daily deals websites. 

         CitySpecialz has two components: "Guess The Price" and "Specialz".

"Specialz" are discounted deals from local businesses, that you can download for free and pay the merchants directly at their establishments. This way you are not missing out on great deals and the business is still able to make a buck.

"Guess The Price" is the only product of its type (created and operated only by CitySpecialz). It is an innovative way for consumers to get rewarded for their social media followings. Consumers are offered a chance to win a product or service for free in exhange for their "Like". To do so they have to "guess" a two digit number (the cents value of the product or service), which is randomly generated and does not reflect the original value.
