Each week, Built In Denver visits three tech startups across Colorado's front range. We interview founders, and highlight how these innovative companies got started, where they're going and what makes them unique.

For week #7 of our Startup Tour, we visited Active Junky, Prosperent, and MedPassage

As Colorado as it gets, Active Junky gets you cash back (no catch!) simply for shopping online with one of more than 250+ outdoor retailers through their site. We spoke with Founder, CEO, and avid skiier Kevin McInerney to learn about this company full of outdoor enthusiasts. Read our interview with him here

Having been around since 2009, but new to Denver, Prosperent is one of the more established companies in town. Yet, they're the new kids on the block, and their enthusiastic and irreverent team is bringing great energy to Denver's startup scene. Learn about the tools they've created to faciliate more prosperous affiliate marketing and the lessons they've learned over the years straight from their CEO, Brian Lovett. Arguably one of the most potentially disruptive new technologies coming to market, MedPassage may change health care as we know it. "The Amazon.com of medical devices," this company's model could help to save millions of dollars in health care costs. Co-Founder  and CMO Mike Biselli, whose motto is "innovate or die," spoke with us earlier this week. Read what he has to say here

Built In Denver's Startup Tour is a part of our mission to create stronger community and collaboration in the digital startup scene.
