With spring cleaning around the corner, Denver-based BrightNest is giving users a way to stay on top of home maintenance and improvement with an iPhone app. Released Monday for free on the App Store, Home Maintenance by BrightNest provides tips and tools to help people manage projects at home.
“We know there’s a lot of information online about caring for your home, so our goal was to build an app that does the thinking for you,” said Justin Anthony, BrightNest co-founder and CEO, in a press release. “Knowing that every home and every homeowner are different, we designed the app so that each user gets unique suggestions that are relevant to them.”
BrightNest says they want their app to be “predictive,” providing users information that they would have to seek out on their own otherwise. In addition to how-to guides, the app allows users to manage to do lists and projects.
In addition, the app allows users to keep track of the progress of their current home projects, allowing them to have access to materials lists, for examples, at all times. Also, it keeps a history of all your projects, helpful information for selling a home.
According to Anthony, the BrightNest app will help users reach their goal of keeping their home in shape while saving money and creating a safe environment for their families.
