[ibimage==22002==Original==none==self==ibimage_align-left]Look out for the out-of-town techies that will be flooding Denver International Airport en route to Boulder next week. And there’s a good reason to fly in: Boulder Startup Week!

The five-day startup-palooza is kicking off next week with about 70 scheduled events for investors, developers, entrepreneurs and everyone in between.

But don’t worry about being overloaded with dozens of tech talks or coffees with VCs. Instead, think more along the lines of “Hike with and Angel Investor” or “Startup Yoga.” The events aren’t just about running your startup more efficiently – they are aimed at connecting the Boulder startup community and inviting fly-ins to eventually join it (with the persuasion of some great local brews, naturally).

Since the event started two years ago, there have been numerous stories of BSW attendees catching the Boulder fever and never looking back! Mathew Sisson of PivotDesk wrote in a blog post about how BSW caused him to move to Boulder in 2011, and how it all started due to BSW’s free fly-in program.

Yes, that’s right: BSW flies qualified candidates to Colorado for free! Last year, 12 participants were able to fly in at no cost, but due to increased event sponsorship, the number has doubled this year. This year’s sponsors include SendGrid, Slice of Lime and Metzger Associates, among dozens of others.

With all the generous sponsor support, it’s pretty much guaranteed that BSW will be an amazing time. So are you ready to go yet? Good news is there is no registration required. Simply check out the lineup and attend as many events as you can!

Especially if you are on the hunt for a new opportunity, BSW is the place to make the connections with hiring companies –and their page of Boulder-based job vacancies proves it! Who knows, you might just meet your next co-founder, a much-needed developer or be inspired by a completely new startup idea. But, one thing is for sure, just enjoying the sights (and tastes) of Boulder itself is worth a trip to Boulder Startup Week.
