The Denver team behind BusyLife Software is now launching on-demand alcohol delivery app Bottlz. Bottlz will serve as a platform for retailers to market their beer, wine and spirits to consumers looking to get their order within 60 minutes via pick-up or delivery.

The platform is joining a number of other alcohol delivery services across the country: Saucey, Drizly, Instacart, Foxtrot, Swill, Thirstie and Drinkfly are just a few other apps that deliver alcohol on-demand in their respective markets. Bottlz is the first to get to Colorado though with a few Denver wine and spirits retailers already on board.

Given the brew-centric habits of Coloradans, launching such a service here is a no-brainer. The tech behind the service also isn’t a stretch for the Bottlz team considering their experience: CEO Chris Poelma’s local BusyLife Software team launched mobile e-commerce app Qwikcart in 2011 and gained the support of Point B Capital and David Cohen’s Bullet Time Ventures.

As Bottlz gains more local users, it will be offering liquor retailers the ability to reach a wider audience with personalized promotions, push notifications and location-based coupons. Meanwhile, Bottlz is doing Denver consumers a favor by getting them their liquor products on-demand, just like they are used to getting everything else nowadays. The on-demand factor goes back to one of BusyLife’s founding principles of  setting out to “make things convenient for people.”
