If you follow the startup world in Colorado you’re probably familiar with Brad Feld and his new book Startup Communities and subsequent online community StartupRev. One of the key principles Brad mentions in the book is the necessity of events with regularity that are inclusive to all which showcase the notion that with the right initiative, if you build it they will come. There is an entire section in Startup Communities dedicated to the upcoming event in Boulder, BoulderBeta. If you’ve never been it’s a unique experience that allows anyone in the community see what is hot in the startup world as well as mingle with other entrepreneurs excited for the next big thing.

Being called Boulder’s startup Holiday Party the companies and sponsors involved are guaranteed to impress. Below you’ll find a down and dirty version of the companies from TechStars alumni to kickstarter sensations if you can make this event tomorrow night, do it!

Shameless plug with full disclosure, I am the community manager for Birdbox a TechStars 2012 graduate. We’re making the way you capture events with your photos and share with friends simple without having to change the way you use your favorite social networks. We’re sponsoring a photo booth with Denver photographer Jamie Bagley from Smile High Memories all the quirky moments in a totally professional (or unprofessional, hey, it’s your photo, we won’t judge) way. Photos posted to instagram or tweeted with the #BoulderBeta hashtag will be in our nest.

And now, here’s who else you can expect to see at BoulderBeta tomorrow night:

Atoms Express is a Boulder company that went from idea to prototype to knocking their $100,000 kickstarter goal out of the park with 20 days to spare. Rekindling the kid in you, give these interactive toys a look.

Making tracking the turns easy SlopeSquad brings social and stats to the ski season just in time for our first taste of snow, regardless of what mountain you're on.

GivenGoods, whom I saw for the first time at the i4c summit inspires you to buy from companies who are doing right by the world by ensuring your purchases tie back into charities.

Ever wish you had a credit score for your rental history? RentalKharma steps up to the plate to give credit where credit is due.

Buzzam gives you customizable content in addition to your favorite music. Picture facebook, twitter, and music news all in one spot that you set up how you want.

If you’ve ever organized an event you’re going to want to attack the founders at VenuePlease with appreciative hugs for making your life easier by matching a venue to your personality.

PreCog, designed for developers and data scientists enables you to quickly build big data applications without the headache of custom data infrastructure development and maintenance.

Beta has been a rite of passage for any startup in Boulder since I moved to “The Bubble” and it was my first exposure to the excitement of being able to share your idea with a LOT of people in a short period of time. Come see all of these awesome companies and their peers set up shop around Absinthe House for an expo style pitch fest. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #BoulderBeta with all the photos you tweet or post to instagram!
