Startup Week comes to Fort Collins for the first time today. Many awesome events, speakers, and networking opportunities are coming to town to celebrate the rapidly growing entrepreneurial scene. Here are five events part of Startup Week that you absolutely can’t miss.

1) The Future of Life: Agriculture and the Internet of Things by VHG & Inex Advisors
Where is it: CSU Powerhouse Energy Institute, 430 North College Avenue.
When is it: Friday the 23rd, at 9 am.
What is it: VHG and INEX Advisors have teamed up to bring this great workshop to Startup Week. VHG CEO Carrie van Heyst, and INEX President Chris Rezendes are speaking and will also be there throughout the event answering any questions you might have.
2) Lean In to Funding? #WTFF Where're The Female Founders?
Where is it: AIR-Arts Incubator of the Rockies, 200 Matthews Street
When is it: Wednesday the 21st, at 10 am.
What is it: Panel discussion moderated by SoGloMo CEO Cheryl Goodman. The panelists include Kim Coupounas, Carrie van Heyst, and Nadia Auch.
3) Inside-the-Beltway: Discussion about Federal Government Resources and Policy Issues
Where is it: AIR-Arts Incubator of the Rockies, 200 Matthews Street
When is it: Wednesday the 21st at 1pm.
What is it: Monisha Merchant, business advisor to Senator Michael Bennet, is discussing resource and policy issues surrounding Colorado startups.
4) PowerHouse of Innovation Energy Institute Panel and Tour
Where is it: CSU Powerhouse Energy Institute, 430 North College Avenue.
When is it: Friday the 23rd at 12 pm.
What is it: There will be a panel with questions, and tours explaining the projects at the Powerhouse Energy Institute. Panelists include Mike Freeman of the Innosphere and Clean Energy Cluster, Julie Zinn of Spirae, Ed Van Dyne of Van Dyne Super Turbo, Jeremy Nelson of CSU Ventures.
Where is it: Rocky Mountain Innosphere, 320 East Vine Drive.
When is it: Thursday the 22nd at 4 pm.
What is it: Companies across town will be presenting their startups for participants. Come meet the teams, have a beer, and get to know all of the amazing startups in FoCo.
