Lukas Oppermann is staff systems designer at GitHub and the former principal experience designer and design lead at Deutsche Telekom. Oppermann has also headed up his own UI/UX firm, veare, since 2005. He has served as a design lead for Daimler AG’s (now the Mercedez-Benz Group) incubator, Lab1886, and as a senior UI/UX designer for Bosch’s eBike product line and Aperto IBM iX. He has given lectures on digital product design at Macromedia University and interaction design at Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule, Oppermann’s alma mater.
