Dustin Harris is the senior director of growth at Built In overseeing search engine optimization (SEO) and growth product development. With more than a decade of SEO experience, he has worked on a wide variety of growth projects involving editors, writers, software engineers, product managers, designers and data scientists. His current interests include the evolution of artificial intelligence and machine learning and how these technologies are applied to understand language and user intent.

Harris holds a degree in history from the University of Kentucky. He previously led organic and paid search marketing at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the world’s largest plastic surgery specialty organization. Prior to that, he was a web editor and book reviewer at the Chicago Sun-Times.
