Austin Design Week, Nov. 7, 12 p.m.
The inaugural Austin Design Week begins Monday kicking off a series of workshops, discussions, studio tours and events this month to celebrate the creative economy of our city. Learn about the spaces, products, and images that inspire and strengthen Austin's design innovators. Events include: frog design's frogJam co-hosted with Austin Creative Alliance, Razorfish studio tour, a talk with Austin User Experience Association, argo design studio tour, R/GA studio tour, and more. (Partner Event) DBC Campus Director leads Beginner's Python Night, Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Join Women Who Code at Rackspace on Tuesday to Learn Python the Hard Way as a group. A short talk from a local developer will begin the session, followed by instruction and will wrap up with some fun code kata. Whitney O'Banner, Dev Bootcamp's campus director, will lead the evening. Food and drinks will be provided by Rackspace.

Campfire Networking with Amazon Flex Live, Nov. 11 at 4 p.m.

MLH Prime- Southwest Regional, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m.
The city of Austin will serve as host to this year's MLH Prime-Southwest Regional 24-hour innovation competition. As part of MLH's international series, 400 students from around the region will work on their rough concepts for 24 hours to present it to a panelist of judges. The event will be held at the Travis County Exposition Center. RSVP here.
