Since 2014, Acast has been creating the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, building
the technology which connects podcast creators, advertisers and listeners.
Its marketplace spans more than 125,000 podcasts, 2,700 advertisers and c.1 billion quarterly listens.
Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen - across any podcasting app or
other listening platform.
The company operates worldwide and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Acast is listed on the Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market (ACAST.ST).
About the role
As a Tech Team Manager at Acast you will be the engineering and product leader for your team and its product area. You will work closely with our product development leadership team to shape and execute the vision for your product area and ensure that the engineers in your team grow.
This team owns our commercial information systems - our CRM (Salesforce), our ERP (NetSuite), and integrations with these systems. These systems are the ‘plumbing’ in our marketplace. They handle our key commercial and financial data flows, and ensure that insights are surfaced to relevant people at the right times to drive intelligent business decisions.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who enjoys blending engineering and product leadership, and is comfortable innovating within the constraints imposed by external platforms. You are confident and proactive when building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and able to communicate complex ideas clearly. You are an advocate for iterative development and engineering best practices within your domain. It's important that you are curious and can adapt quickly and enjoy an ever-changing environment.
The team’s integrations are hosted on AWS and written in Javascript (NodeJS) and Python - you should be familiar with and interested in these technologies. Salesforce and NetSuite have their own internal scripting languages, experience with these would be a bonus but is in no way required.
Strong candidates will have previously worked with financial or commercial systems in some fashion.
Where you will be located
Most of our teams are hybrids with some members co-located in offices and some working remotely. With a remote first way of working we want you to feel productive regardless of work location!
Where? For this role, it can be within the UK or Sweden.
Working hours? We want to avoid teams distributed over time zones, so this team will operate within the CET time zone (UTC+1) for collaboration. This setup allows us for more flexibility and work-life balance.
Acast is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin or any of the other wonderful characteristics that make us different.
Culture is our number one priority as a business. We believe people come first, and we work every day to enable autonomy, continuous improvement and bring out the best in people. We’re global and have remote teams, so it’s even more important that we strive for an open, inclusive and caring environment where everyone feels visible and welcome. We consider ourselves a modern organization driven by strong values to create the best, most fulfilling and nurturing culture.
We very much look forward to finding the next great person to join our cause!
