The Role

Effectv helps businesses reach the right audience with the right message at the right time. We harness the scale and quality of Comcast data to target advertisers' audiences across linear TV, streaming, and video on demand and enabling clients to evaluate performance. A division of Comcast, we have a presence in 60+ markets and an estimated reach of 96 million U.S. adults that include both Comcast and non-Comcast households.
Job Summary
Comcasts advertising division, Effectv, is growing its Insights & Analytics team, and we're looking for motivated, high-impact candidates to help shape and create the measurement solutions offered to our advertising clients. As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with internal and external teams to enable innovative and comprehensive cross-screen measurement and attribution across all advertising products and platforms we offer. We're looking for candidates who are analytically minded, have excellent communication skills, and can "tell a story" through the data.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities

  • Utilizes big data querying techniques, while structuring and pulling data from various sources.
  • Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identifies current measurement gaps and defines business requirements for solutions needed but not yet supported.
  • Helps to create innovative (Proof of Concept) solutions, tracks client adoption, and works with internal product and engineering teams on automation and productization.
  • Trains internal and external stakeholders on how best to utilize our measurement and attribution solutions, with a focus on actionability and optimization.
  • Partners with sales and account teams to understand customer objectives and how measurement and attribution can help solve for them.
  • Enables 3rd party measurement across various vendors Effectv works with.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, engineering, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical background and experience in extracting insights and operating with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways.
  • Expertise in SQL and Excel required.
  • Advertising background (i.e. agency, ad tech, in house, etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Python, R, etc.).
  • Great written and verbal communicator.
  • Experience working within cloud infrastructures (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure).

Salary:
National Pay Range: $62,698.24 USD-$146,949.00 USD
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
