Executive Talent Researcher - Job Description
The Executive Talent Researcher is an important role supporting the Senior Executive Sourcer along with the broader executive recruiting team. The position will be responsible for lead generation and talent intelligence for senior leader search assignments across all bank divisions. This individual will identify diverse talent pools through deep research and talent mining techniques based on position required skills and competencies the bank needs to execute its' strategy.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Participate in search assignment intake sessions with recruiters and hiring managers as requires.
- Execute research plans in collaboration with sourcing strategies.
- Quickly deliver quality diverse talent leads utilizing sourcing, talent mining, and research techniques to generate target profiles for review with minimal day to day direction.
- Screen resumes/profiles daily to identify talented candidates and d evelop target lists.
- Search internal resume database (ATS) for sourcing and tracking of candidates.
- Assist with target prospect outreach and grow Senior Executive Sourcer talent connections.
- Increase Senior Executive Sourcer talent engagement and followers by identifying relevant financial and executive talent content and publish posts on LinkedIn.
- Utilize applicant tracking system to track activity as required and/or CRM.
- Gather talent intelligence using tools and online resources to provide insights and guidance around leadership talent .
- Complete required reporting to track progress and participate as need in status meetings with key business partners/stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree, (STEM Preferred)
- 2+ years employment with an executive search firm with experience in research and candidate development activities supporting Senior Director to C-Level search assignments.
- 5+ years overall business or banking related experience.
- Proficient at name generation for executive searches, pipelining for future executive level talent, and gathering talent intelligence for demographics, talent demand/supply, compensation, and competitors.
- Must be proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter and Search Engine Advanced Boolean Strings.
- Demonstrated success building diverse candidate pipelines and lead generation for hard to fill talent requirements.
- Experience organizing, managing, and tracking candidate flow.
- Possess excellent communication with the ability to operate effectively at the executive level.
- Ability to generate a high volume/high quality pipeline of candidates under tight timelines.
- Must be proficient with MS Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience utilizing Oracle Recruiting Cloud and/or other similar enterprise Applicant tracking systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with talent mining techniques (Keyword/Title, Conceptual, Implicit, Natural Language, Probabilistic, Peer Regression, Level Inclusion)
- Deep knowledge of the financial services industry
- Certified Diversity Sourcing Professional (CPSP)
- AESC Research Certification
- Advanced Techniques for Uncovering Talent in the Deep Web, The Sourcing Institute
