The individual will work with integration, production, and process engineers to find root cause of device failures, implement process improvement plans, create design of experiment (DOE) using JMP, and report findings to department and program staff.
In addition, the senior engineer will work on continuous improvement projects including setting up metrology measurement plans in manufacturing execution system (MES), implement statistical process control (SPC) and write training documents and procedures for the department. The senior engineer will work closely with MTL’s Production department to improve training implementation and to improve the arrangement of the cleanroom, in the spirit of 5S. The role requires attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communications.

Cleanroom fabrication experience
Semiconductor process development
Expertise with Statistical Process Contol (SPC)
Data analysis and DOE using JMP or similar software
Semiconductor device physics
Required Education:
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a STEM related field plus 10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer processing.
Physical Requirements:
Must be willing to work in a cleanroom (up to 30%)
Special Requirements:
