Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,100 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Atlassian is looking for a demand generation professional to join our team as a Senior Demand Generation Strategist, Growth to help drive end-to-end campaigns and increase demand for our Core products and Platform solutions. Your role will be to build and execute the B2B demand generation strategy, working alongside sales, product marketing, and other internal teams. We are looking for a senior marketer who thinks outside of the box and creates delightful customer experiences and campaigns to reach our target audiences. You thrive in funnel analytics and understand how to create pipeline via marketing programs and channels. You love the science of marketing as much as the art and enjoy building, implementing and measuring new systems, processes and campaigns. You will work with world-class product teams and new emerging businesses within Atlassian.
What you'll do:

  • Lead awareness, adoption, and retention campaigns for Atlassian's new product, AI Rovo. Collaborate with demand generation and product marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging and execution across various channels, including paid, organic, owned, and web. This role is pivotal in driving growth, adoption, and revenue through self-serve and sales-driven motions.
  • Own segmentation strategy to deliver more targeted and relevant messaging to improve engagement and conversion through the self-serve and sales funnels.
  • Support the Product Marketing team with new features and product launches and translate business goals into demand-generation strategies and execution plans.
  • Measure, analyze, and report campaign performance and deliver weekly campaign performance briefs to marketing and sales leadership.
  • Drive tight alignment with Sales, Product Marketing, Product to ensure seamless execution and meet quarterly pipeline and self-serve goals.
  • Partner with Analytics and Performance marketing teams to develop a measurement framework.
  • Leverage marketing automation tools and related technology integrations to increase demand.


On your first day, we'll expect you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2C demand generation.
  • Extensive experience implementing enterprise programs and processes.
  • Understanding and experience working with high-touch sales and low-touch self-serve motions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise lead generation standard methodologies and industry trends, and self-serve funnel.
  • A passion for metrics. You live for the data and use it to guide your programs and spend.
  • Fluent in marketing automation and CRM capabilities with hands-on experience (SFDC + Marketo a big plus).
  • Extraordinary program management and communication skills and a consistent track record of working across sales, marketing and technology teams.
  • The desire to roll up your sleeves and do the dirty work to get the job done.
