We're Looking For A: A Senior Creative Director, Marketing who is responsible for building and overseeing a team of social media ad specialists. This role involves providing creative direction, ideation, coaching, and strategic planning across multiple brands.
Location: Remote (Office in Woodland Hills, CA)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide visionary leadership to the creative team, inspiring and guiding them to generate groundbreaking ideas and concepts.
- Recruit and lead a team to produce both short-form and long-form marketing videos, utilizing a data-driven, test-and-learn approach.
- Increase both the output and success of our company's creative wins, with a focus on short, attention-grabbing thumb stoppers and intro content.
- Responsible for assessing and selecting appropriate talent to direct celebrity video shoots, both on-set internally and at remote locations.
- Collaborate with other managers and executives to prioritize projects to maximize company growth.
- Oversee the ideation and script writing of video content with a focus on increasing engagement, return on investment (ROI), and scalability.
- Take charge of casting decisions, including on-camera talent, models, and voiceover artists, ensuring a cohesive and compelling visual narrative.
- Create team guidelines, incentives, and structure to increase creative wins.
- Shape the overall structure and growth of the team, providing coaching and mentorship to managers and individual contributors, and overseeing the training of new team members to drive both team and individual development.
- Effectively manage budgets, closely monitoring project spending and making adjustments based on timelines, schedule changes, or modifications in the scope of work.
- Ensure that production consistently meets the expectations and timelines set by various departments, maintaining a standard of excellence across all projects.
Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Proven track record in performance marketing, creating winning direct response creative for metrics based brands.
- Demonstrates high creativity and self-motivation, capable of working independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Exhibits a strong ability to collaborate effectively with others, fostering a cooperative and supportive work environment.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and concise interactions with team members and stakeholders.
- College degree or equivalent years of work experience (required)
- 10 years in performance marketing or DTC marketing, with experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, IG, YouTube) (required)
- 5 years of experience managing a team (required)
- Work in the health and wellness space, beauty, or pet brands Celebrity writing and/or directing (preferred)
- Previous role at a DTC or Direct Response company (preferred)
