Panther is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Ingestion team. This is a contract opportunity with potential for full-time employment. As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backbone of Panther's data ingestion capabilities.
Operating within a modern cloud architecture on Go microservices in AWS, you'll focus on making data onboarding into Panther a seamless process, regardless of scale. Responsibilities
- You’ll build and work on new customer-facing product features that empower security teams worldwide.
- You’ll be hands-on within Panther’s codebase, addressing bug fixes, reviewing work, and providing constructive feedback
- You will be a part of a core product engineering team, collaborating with product managers, design, and other engineers.
- You will work independently and in small teams, where efficient collaboration & excellent communication skills are required (a must in a remote environment).
Requirements
- You’ve worked professionally for at least 5-years as a software engineer
- Experience writting backend code for customer-facing product features
- Experience coding in Golang at a production level
- Experience partnering with frontend engineers, product managers and designers
- Experience in building cloud-native applications, preferably AWS
- Ability to prioritize tasks, collaborate effectively, know when to seek assistance, and when to work independently.
- You have demonstrated experience working on highly scalable systems and frameworks
