Our company's Monitoring Sales Managers interact remotely with our customers by phone, understand their goals and consult to offer the right solutions. We work collaboratively with Field Sales Teams and play a critical role in supporting our customer centric business model.
This is a sales position within the Sales team for our company's Livestock Monitoring business. Candidate will be responsible for contacting customers via the telephone to establish ongoing sales relationships to promote, position, and sell the Monitoring line of products. The Inside Sales Rep will be accountable for qualifying sales leads, making initial contacts with prospects, engaging the prospect to determine best monitoring solution. This position will be instrumental in converting leads and prospects to new customers and ensuring the successful installation and use of the new monitoring solution. Multiple customer contacts and follow-up phone calls will be required to ensure customer success. The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for contacting decision makers to discuss customer goals and offer solutions in line with our company's products to drive sales. Scheduling will be flexible to ensure the opportunity to connect with customers when they are available. Some evening and weekend hours may be needed to meet customer needs. Performance is measured on sales goal achievement vs. goal, as well as targeted promotions and other performance standards consistent with operating objectives.
In this role you will learn about and contribute to our Company's Monitoring business as a member of the North American Sales team. Top preforming and successful Inside Sales Representatives may be offered growth opportunities to transition to US field-based sales roles in the future which may require relocation to where the business and growth is needed.
Key Competencies:
- Customer Engagement - Ability to follow up and screen sales leads and prospects. Identify customer needs and appropriate SenseHub solutions to successfully close the sale. Provide onboarding support to ensure customer success through the installation and start up of the SenseHub eco system
- Product Knowledge & Portfolio Management - Ability to apply understanding of our company's Livestock Monitoring and Allflex portfolio of products and services to create an optimal plan in matching individual offerings to customer needs and interests.
- Customer support - Ability to act as the first contact for new customers engaging in self-installations and use of monitoring software and hardware systems in simple installation environments. Including developing a site plan for each customer through questions and verification from a virtual site survey. Tracking of product shipment, follow up during and after installation to verify connectivity.
- Customer success - Ability to provide training materials for customers using the monitoring systems.
- Account Management - Ability to understand multiple interdependencies within an account, consider customer goals and needs, to maximize long-term account performance.
- Sales Acumen - Ability to build trust with customers and demonstrate value in selling situations to deliver high-quality engagements or interactions that deliver products/solutions.
- Customer & Market Insights - Ability to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and goals, as well as market dynamics, competitor analysis and trends to improve overall business outcomes.
- Customer Segmentation & Targeting - Ability to segment & target customers effectively, allocate promotional resources, and drive execution of commercial plans.
- Telesales Operations - Ability to develop and maintain account relationships and manage account sales growth for assigned stakeholders through contacting accounts to discuss product needs, increase product occupancy, expand market penetration and acquire sales.
- Software Skills for Sales Entry and Tracking - Ability to work within Salesforce to track customer contact and sales opportunities. Detail oriented to enter sales orders and initiate the sales process through shipping and tracking to a customer.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
- Successful candidate must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with a production animal focus or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience selling animal products and services.
- Knowledge of the beef industry, cow-calf production and feedlots.
- Able to quickly build trust and rapport with customers.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Documented sales experience.
- Experience with Sales Force, SAP, Microsoft Office software products

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$62,000.00 - $97,600.00
