The HRIS Analyst II is responsible for ensuring the Human Resource Information System and other managed tools are meeting the needs of Credit Karma by administering, configuring, and providing creative solutions when needed. The HRIS Analyst II serves as a key resources and subject matter expert (SME) for the Workday system, focused on functional areas such as, HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Perform day-to-day run the business operations, maintenance, and other functions as directed for HRIS managed systems, but not limited to troubleshooting root cause analysis, resolving incidents, and managing system releases/upgrades.
- Perform basic system configuration including business processes, core tables, notifications, user security, and report writing.
- Works with others to define technical feasibility, timelines, and resource needs for new or modified system functionality and alignment to business goals. Organize and lead discussions on business impact, reporting needs, and rollout plans.
- Supports continuous improvement projects, such as improving data integrity, processes, and workflows. Partners cross-functionally to increase process efficiencies and/or support productivity.
- Develop, run and provide regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards upon request. Gathers data from multiple sources (Payroll/Finance/Compensation) and performs moderate to complex analysis, generating reports supportive of organizational metrics and client services.
- Routinely works with others to monitor and audit configuration and/or process changes within the system through regular data audits and trend analysis. Provides analysis, interpretation, and potential solutions for data, process, or system concerns.
- Ability to develop and facilitate training as needed, particularly with new cross-functional stakeholders team members, managers and end users.
- Perform activities across functional areas and interact directly with internal, corporate and external customers with respect to planning, problem resolution, process improvement and reporting.
- Assigns and maintains user access. Implements safeguards to ensure employee data privacy and protection.
- Manage all HRIS team requests through a Jira queue and ensures change controls are followed to adhere to SOX controls.
- Manage and maintain the HRIS team’s intranet, process and runbook documentation, and other training material for end users.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, and manage slack channels, email queue and internal resources sites.
- Complete compliance and government regulation reporting
What We Expect:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of functional user Workday experience (HCM)
- Experience with Workday EIB data load and security settings
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities; ability to effectively prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to handle and maintain discretion with confidential information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
- Professional presence with the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
- Ability to build team morale and promote corporate culture
