The Role

We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team!
Reporting to our Global Facilities Manager, you will be based on reception and will be the first person to greet our staff, visitors and callers and their first impressions of Redgate will come from you. So, we're looking for someone approachable, friendly and enthusiastic who can put people at ease and make them feel welcome. Above all, we're looking for someone who cares as much as we do that visitors and staff receive exceptional service.

The role:
You will be working within the Facilities team and as part of this team your role will involve supporting our Facilities Lead with managing building security, office maintenance and admin, as well as supporting the team with onboarding new starters and setting up homeworking equipment for our people.
You will also support Redgate with internal hospitality events and expos and will look after health and safety tasks such as first aid & fire safety training for staff. You'll also be on hand to take on administrative duties from various functions within Redgate.
If you're naturally organised, an excellent communicator & problem solver, that can prioritise tasks and enjoys working with a variety of people then we'd love to hear from you.
Due to the role being based on reception, the role has set hours of 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday.

  • You have excellent Microsoft office skills including Excel.
  • A friendly and confident telephone manner.
  • Experience working in an administrative office or reception role.
  • You are reliable, flexible, approachable and trustworthy.
  • You have excellent communication, organisation and networking skills to interact with people of all levels.
  • You bring proven problem-solving skills.
  • You are self-motivated and gets things done.
  • You're a confident and personable team player, who treats others reasonably.


What's the package?

  • A great benefits package .
  • Salary is £25,000-£30,000, depending on experience.
  • You'll work about 40 hours a week, 8.30am - 5pm
