HELP BUILD A WORLD CLASS PRODUCT MARKETING FUNCTION
Our Product Marketing team's mission is to help propel and advance the company's growing product portfolio and drive interest in our product. As a Developer Advocate reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, you will be a key driver for developer and community engagement. This is a unique opportunity to join a company in its late-stage startup journey. You will help bring new ideas and build best practices in how we go to market, and actually see your impact in the market.
Working with a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing technical content, technical enablement, and competitive analysis. The ideal person for this position has experience in the Developer / DevOps / Analytics / SDLC space with a passion for creating engaging content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Our Technology: Act as Sisense's ambassador at developer conferences, meetups, and other events, effectively communicating our cutting-edge embedded analytics to the developer community.
- Content Creation: Craft engaging and informative content, including guides, blogs, tutorials, and webinars tailored to developers, enhancing both education and excitement about our technology.
- Feedback Loop: Establish a robust communication channel between the developer community and our product teams, providing valuable insights to inform and guide product development. Collaborate closely with R&D and Product teams to ensure content quality and accuracy
- Mentorship and Leadership: Lead and mentor junior advocates and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Innovative Projects: Drive innovative projects and collaborations, pushing the envelope in data analytics and developer advocacy, ensuring Sisense stays at the forefront of technological advancements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of technical marketing, product management, or developer relations
- Proven track record in creating go-to-market strategies and technical content.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, business analytics, and software development tools.
- Self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams (internal and third-party) to achieve business objectives
- Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation skills
Education:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or other related technical field

CO Posting: The base pay range for candidates located in Colorado is $120,000-$145,000 (/yr). The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to market location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, experience and training, education, skill sets, and other business and organizational needs. A bonus, equity, commissions, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity. The disclosed salary range represents an estimate of the base compensation for candidates who can or will be located in Colorado. This range may vary with respect to candidates whose primary work location is outside those jurisdictions.
