The Opportunity...

Centerfield is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team! This position provides an excellent opportunity to leverage data, analytics, and metrics to drive revenue and profit for Centerfield. You’ll provide actionable insights to stakeholders across multiple departments, leveraging data-driven dashboards, reports, and trends you identified. Your core responsibilities will be translating data into actionable insights for the business teams, as well as generating and automating visual reports and dashboards. You will also run predictive analyses and modeling to provide insights and recommendations for the media buying, category management, and sales teams. Outstanding candidates will thrive in a fast-paced quantitative operation, work week with a team, have strong intellectual curiosity, and have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. How You'll Contribute...

  • Operate as a member of the Data Warehousing team, performing ad-hoc analyses as business requirements dictate 
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements and criteria for data analysis, reports, and dashboards 
  • Synthesize and analyze category and campaign data to provide insights to the business team – you will be an active contributor to business strategy and recommendations by translating data into digestible and highly visual dashboard applications that elevate analytics into actionable information 
  • Identify upsell opportunities for the sales team by modeling "what-if" scenarios 
  • Creation, enhancement, maintenance, and automation of reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and help business teams make faster and better decisions 
  • Support team with automating Excel reporting, visualizations, alerts, and self-service dashboards in Tableau 

What We're Looking For...

  • Must have experience with GCP, or cloud product architectures 
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3-5 years of experience with data analytics 
  • Must have strong Tableau data manipulation and visualization skills 
  • Comfortable working with large databases, manipulating numbers, and complex data sets 
  • Ability to understand unstructured business problems and develop actionable and efficient dashboards for the team to implement into daily reporting, projects, etc. 
  • Ability to communicate quantitative findings with non-technical team members 
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python 
  • High-level proficiency with MS Excel – views yourself as an “Excel Master” 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong analytical skills (ability to identify risks and escalate issues) 
  • Task-focused: able to work with a high degree of accuracy 
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to prioritize
