How you will contribute
You will:
- Work in close partnership with the business leadership team to execute the analytics agenda
- Identify and incubate best-in-class external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects
- Develop custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long-term business performance
- Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what business analytics will deliver

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the development of a cutting-edge solution that aims to automate commercial reporting and insights to standardize business performance across the organization. You will play an instrumental part in shaping and engineering the features of this solution in daily operations.
What you need to know about this position:
Our team is at the forefront of driving AI, data, and analytics across Mondelez. As a Data Engineer within the Mondelez Data & Analytics team, you will be working towards the following objectives:
- Commercial reporting & insights:
- Build a single source of truth for commercial reporting with UI-friendly dashboards, leveraging diverse data from across the organization.
- Create robust data pipelines to support the automated dashboards tailored to different audiences/power users.
- Evolve dashboards and data models based on insights from testing and user feedback.
- Revenue Growth Management:
- Build data pipelines to feed AI models that enhance key RGM levers and provide automated, real-time recommendations.
- Implement the data architecture needed to develop simulation and optimization capabilities using AI to recommend detailed pricing, product mix, and promotion strategy to our customers.

- Passion for using data to drive business growth and ability to work with data in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement, explaining complex data concepts to non-technical individuals.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a data engineering role, preferably in CPG.
Job specific requirements:
- Work on developing efficient data models and dashboards, leveraging various existing data sources across the organization.
- Ingest, transform, and model data to execute the product vision set by the technical and business owners. Focus on maintaining a balance between technology and execution efficiency.
- Design and maintain ETL processes for data integration and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide necessary data for their analyses and models.
- Monitor data processing systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and uptime.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and database management.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Work with multiple APIs to extract/send data.
- Understanding of the consumer goods industry or similar industries.
- Understanding industry-specific external data sources used to measure and track performance (e.g., Nielsen).
- Proficiency in data warehousing solutions, particularly in the Google Cloud Ecosystem.
- Understanding data containerization, orchestration, processing, and versioning tools and platforms.
- Prior work in DevOps or understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to data security standards and best practices.
