What You'll Do:

  • Customer Facing
    • Drive business initiatives for Independent and Specialty retailers, including Government and Associations
    • Manage customer negotiations surrounding pricing, vendor agreements/terms, and channel investments
    • Represent Munchkin during tradeshows, showroom visits, and other networking events
  • Business Development
    • Drive sales and margin through strategic and curated merchandising strategies, working with Sales and Marketing, and aligning to corporate strategies
    • Understand and share market intelligence regarding competitive activity, and changes in retailer's financial, personnel, and strategic status
    • Support the execution of all retail strategies for Canada
  • Product Forecasting
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide forecasting for a large portfolio of products, to accommodate the depth and variety of retailers in the channel
    • Work with retail partners to manage purchase order flow, out-of-stock, excess, and new product launches
  • Strategy
    • Execute programs designed to drive sales volume growth and deeper partnerships
    • Facilitate online brand experience across third-party partners
    • Lead growth by understanding product lines, and specific key business objectives, and developing accounts through qualitative analysis and quantitative data
    • Become the "expert" on the channel's "way of doing business" and be able to share with other business units
    • Develop and communicate business results to the company and customer, identifying insights and action steps to improve business performance
    • Work with Marketing and Sales to identify growth areas, potential partners, useful technologies to consider, and other in-market insights to improve future sales potential and execution
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Develop, document, and continuously measure against KPIs
    • Utilizing the available analytics tools for each customer or channel, adapt the business to emerging trends and market conditions
    • Use Munchkin's Nielsen data to deepen presentations, dialogue, and business development opportunities with current and prospective accounts
  • Financial
    • Deliver on revenue, profit, and margin targets
  • Other duties may be assigned


Bring It!

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2+ years of experience in a CPG Sales position
  • Must be Bilingual, English-French spoken & written
  • Passion for Sales a must
  • Entrepreneur and highly self-motivated
  • High learning agility and experience dealing with ambiguity, required
  • Superior sales, communication, organization, and management skills
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently
  • Travel required. Up to 25%

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 (DOE)
