Role Summary:As a product manager at Kargo you will be responsible for defining the roadmap for a team, identifying opportunities to grow our client base and keep Kargo at the cutting edge of the ad tech ecosystem. You will be responsible for the successes and failures of your area of ownership and help drive the company to a successful future. You will work closely with engineering to define and deliver a roadmap of features that provide value to your customers.
What You'll Do:
- In charge of defining the long term vision for several features
- Responsible for meeting with clients and prospects to identify the features that will make clients smile
- Always learning about our clients, the market, and our competitors
- Will partner with other departments to collaboratively bring new products to market
- Coordinate with the engineering team to make sure that projects are on track and account for customer needs
- Discuss technical benefits and limitations of implementation plans
- Translate complex technical details into content that non technical stakeholders can understand
- Champion products to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with other product managers against tight deadlines to avoid dependencies
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field
- 2+ years of product management experience or 5 years of industry experience
- Programming experience a plus
- Experience working with social media companies' APIs
- Empathy, and strong communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate with technical team members, both verbally and in writing
- A learning mindset
