What you will do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user documentation, API documentation, release notes, and troubleshooting topics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content for a range of audiences, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals.
  • Participate in product planning and design discussions to advocate for documentation best practices and ensure documentation requirements are considered early in the development process.
  • Continuously improve documentation processes and tools to streamline content creation, review, and publication workflows.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing, documentation tools, and information architecture.

What you will bring with you

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Communication, English, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry.
  • Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown and version control systems (GitHub).
  • Experience with the docs-as-code workflow.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (such as GCP, AWS, and Azure) and containerization technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to use AI/ML tools
  • Familiarity with CSS and Python scripting would be a plus
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation.
