Redgate is looking for a PA to support our Chief Product Officer (CPO)
The CPO oversees the Product Management and Product Design teams (with 6 direct reports) and is a member of Redgate's Exec team. The purpose of the Product Management function is to manage and evolve Redgate's product portfolio so that Redgate can continue to deliver ingeniously simple products to our customers.
A Redgate PA's most important job is to make their Exec as effective and efficient as possible. You'll help to optimise their time through rigorous email and calendar management, as well as being responsible for planning and coordinating key meetings, tracking actions and capturing notes/minuting. You'll need to be fantastic at managing and prioritising your workload, and comfortable working with others to deliver key pieces of work to deadline.
You'll need to use your great communication and lateral thinking skills while working cross-collaboratively with the other PAs and their execs, as well as being a professional representative of the business while liaising with the CPO's external network of contacts. As the Product Management team works cross-divisionally (and is expanding), you'll need to be skilled at building relationships and keen to develop knowledge of the company and its business.
There will be some drafting of correspondence such as internal emails, blog posts and other material as required, so you'll need to be able to write clearly and concisely. You'll need to be confident taking ownership of the logistics and coordination of multiple onsite and offsite events, such as workshops, strategy planning and team kick-offs. You'll also manage some of the function's budgets and oversee the organisation of social events. There will be some international travel bookings for you to manage.
In addition to this, you'll be at the centre of the CPO's team supporting them with people management tasks and - most importantly - you'll act as a reliable sanity check and sounding board for ideas.
As well as working closely with the CPO, you'll be a member of Redgate's friendly, close-knit Business Support team, working collaboratively with other PAs and admins across the company to do what's best for Redgate and help maximise efficiency in all areas. Take a look at this book a member of our team wrote: https://www.red-gate.com/library/the-redgate-guide-to-working-with-a-personal-assistant .
Redgate is a global award-winning software provider with exciting expansion plans for the future - we aspire to be the best place you've ever worked. If the thought of playing an integral role in that journey supporting company leadership appeals, this might just be the job for you!
What makes you Red Gate's next PA?
You are:

  • A PA with proven experience in a similar role

  • Highly efficient, with outstanding organisational skills
  • Skilled at rapport and relationship-building at all levels, with the ability to build trust and respect quickly
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at short notice
  • Solution-orientated, able to work autonomously, prioritising your own workload
  • Open-minded, able to question and challenge others and to flex your own communication and working style when needed
  • Trustworthy and aware of the need for confidentiality

  • Comfortable with transparency and open to two-way feedback
  • A team player who actively contributes to the Business Support Team, and proactively works to support the goals of the CPO and Exec team
  • Experienced in using MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Zoom

What would help?

  • Experience of working in the software industry

What's the package?

  • A great benefits package .
  • Salary is £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Equity-based long-term incentive plan
  • You'll work about 40 hours a week, with flexible work time.

This role will be based at our UK HQ in Cambridge. Achieving work life balance has never been more important and so Redgate has adopted a flexible-hybrid model. This means that people work flexibly with a blend of remote (home) and co-located (office) work, with teams having the flexibility to decide which location best suits the outcomes they need to deliver.
For this role we anticipate that visiting the office between one to two days a week will be typical, though we're happy to discuss what works best for you.
