Own Airwallex’s card scheme economics, including Visa and Mastercard interchange, scheme fees, payment cost configuration, governance, reconciliation, and anomaly detection. Translate network rules into system logic and controls, build transaction-level economic models, identify cost and margin optimization opportunities, and advise on pricing, product design, market launches, and commercial strategy. Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data, Operations, and payment networks to improve payment cost infrastructure and economics.

Develop and close cross-border customers through direct outreach, referrals, events, and partnerships. Achieve revenue targets by understanding payment needs across advertising, entertainment, OTA, and online education sectors. Guide customers through registration, KYC, onboarding, and ongoing transactions while monitoring compliance and transaction legitimacy. Maintain customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, increase customer lifetime value, track market trends, and develop new commercial partnerships.

Owns compensation, benefits, and equity programs across the Americas, including compensation cycles, benefits renewals, broker negotiations, equity administration, market benchmarking, and IPO readiness. Partners with global Total Rewards, People Partners, recruiting, payroll, finance, legal, and leadership teams to develop rewards strategies, manage compliance, and provide data-driven recommendations.

Leads independent monitoring of Airwallex’s global financial crime compliance framework, assessing AML and sanctions controls, identifying gaps and emerging risks, and driving remediation. The role builds risk-based monitoring across key FCC areas, reports program effectiveness and risk exposure to senior leadership and the Board, and partners with FCC, MLRO, Risk, Legal, Product, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.

Architect and build high-performance distributed infrastructure for batch and streaming data across global regions. Optimize state management, checkpointing, JVM performance, and exactly-once processing. Develop AI infrastructure including vector indexing, agentic workflows, and real-time data streaming. Own the full software development lifecycle, contribute to shared tooling and SDKs, and mentor engineers through technical leadership and design reviews.

Generate and qualify SME and Growth sales leads across the Benelux market. Responsibilities include cold outreach, prospect qualification, CRM updates, meeting scheduling, funnel management, outreach testing, and collaboration with Account Executives and Marketing. The role requires Dutch and English fluency, strong communication, target orientation, curiosity, and comfort working in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Own end-to-end enterprise payments sales cycles, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation, contract signature, implementation, and go-live. Build pipeline, manage strategic accounts, map stakeholders, deliver executive presentations and business cases, and lead consultative sales processes.
