The role combines strategic stakeholder management with hands-on field work and requires regular travel to customer ranches.

Lead sales growth across Halter’s Upper South Island dairy market. Responsibilities include setting quotas and commissions, mentoring junior sales staff, sourcing and qualifying prospects, conducting on-farm demonstrations, negotiating and closing contracts, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting post-sale handoffs. The role also requires building agricultural industry relationships, representing the brand at events, gathering customer feedback, and improving sales processes. Frequent regional travel is required, with the role ideally based in Christchurch.

Own onboarding for Halter’s largest APAC enterprise customers, leading multi-site rollout plans, executive stakeholder management, training, change management, and field adoption. The role coordinates Sales, Support, and Product while solving deployment issues, optimizing onboarding processes, and preparing customers to scale across their operations. Regular travel and hands-on work on farms are required.

Manage full-cycle recruitment across General and Administrative functions, including Finance, Legal, People, Marketing, and Executive Operations. Develop sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, advise hiring managers, coordinate hiring processes, deliver strong candidate experiences, maintain ATS workflows, track recruitment metrics, and support talent planning, diversity, internal mobility, and employer branding initiatives.

Identify patentable inventions across firmware, software, machine learning, electronics, and mechanical systems; draft patent specifications and claims; manage prosecution; lead freedom-to-operate and invalidity work; and develop AI-enhanced intellectual property tools. The role partners closely with engineers, analyzes design documents and code, identifies patent whitespace, and helps shape scalable IP processes for Halter’s rapidly expanding technology portfolio.

Manage Halter’s existing farmer accounts across South Canterbury, owning retention, renewals, and expansion. Support farm deployment, onboarding, training, and ongoing problem-solving while building trusted customer relationships. Partner with farmers to establish success goals, advocate for customer needs with product teams, provide practical agriculture expertise, and represent the brand through community networking. Frequent regional travel and autonomous work are required.

Drive sales growth and customer success across the King Country and South Waikato territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, managing the full sales pipeline, demonstrating and negotiating Halter’s product, meeting sales targets, managing customer accounts, supporting onboarding and deployment, expanding partnerships, gathering field feedback, and collaborating with Product, Support, and regional sales teams. Frequent travel and strong engagement with farmers and agricultural groups are required.
